View Full Version : City centre building works colinmann 08-10-2004, 17:44 Do any of you chaps have any new photos of the Owen Building/Hallam Building in the city centre? I'm a student from there - on placement in Hamburg, Germany for a year & i'm very curious to see what they have done to it! Also do any of you chaps have any access to the new plans for what should replace the NMB? Or indeed, if anyone has any photos of the railway station works? Strix 08-10-2004, 18:07 It's permanent, and it seems to work a lot better than the traffic light arrangement at the leadmill. I'll get a lot of replies for saying that! It will work well when all the works are finished and they can synchonise the lights from Park Square to Granville Square properly, but at the minute its complete gash! venger 08-10-2004, 22:03 seems to work ok now you can tiurn through the bus station, although traffic is still directed towards the same place. I think they should do a raffle at the uni for who should push the plunger!!
