At risk of sounding like an old fart, can someone pls give directions to Plug. Also any good pubs/ restaurants nearby?

I went to the Plug on Tuesday night, the Pump is the closest pub but thats now closed apparently.

You're probably best of staying around the Peace Gdns, Ha ha Bar and all that then having a leisurely walk down to the Plug.

The Washington (bottom of Dev Green) would be quite apt given how much Jarvis used to drink in there in days gone by. Its only 5/10 mins walk from Plug.

I went Friday to Plug. The pump is still open. If you like chinese then wong ting is virtually next to it towards the moor.

Try the Rutland Arms which is also very close, located on Brown Street

Thanks to all for the info. Sounds a perfect night- a few beers, Jarvis and a Crispy Duck (I don,t mean the wife who I am taking)
