As some of you know Bailey is my gorgeous baby boy, shih-tzu pup. His Daddy and I have decided that he is a very clever boy, so clever he has even started teaching himself tricks without us.

So we want to send him to a doggy training school to stretch his little brain.

Does anyone know of any in Hillsborough? Or any really good ones nearish Hillsborough?

What do they charge and what sort of things to they do?

Many thanks
from Mummy and Bailey

hey, bailey is such a gorgeous name! i dont know of any training classes im afraid but there is a new training pack out that you will be interested in. Coachies have a clicker training kit out, it is only £10 but it has every thing you need to clicker train little bailey to do all sorts of tricks. its ideal for challenging intelligent breeds.

Bailey's a clever little lad- he's even getting the hang of sitting calmly while he's all excited about going out but he needs his lead attaching (which is not bad bearing in mind how young he is).

Everyone round him already uses a clicker for positive training- I think that what Olliekitten is looking for is a way to take it further using classes to channel his energies.

He has taught himself how to throw his ball at me or my hubby when he wants us to throw it for him.

He is a very clever Bailey Bumble x x x x

We are going to a lady in Millhouses after Easter.

When we're out for walks we often meet the same people with their dogs. Yesterday Bailey decided that it was unfair that one of the other dogs was getting a stick thrown for him, so he went and found himself a stick, put it on the floor in front of the other owner's feet and sat down next to her dog waiting for her to throw it- it was the cutest thing in the world (bearing in mind that the other dog is a rather large German Shepherd).
