I have a Belkin wireless mouse and keyboard set.

Approx one in three times when I turn my PC on and get into Windows XP my mouse's left button behaves similarly (but not quite the same) to the how the right button should perform and the right button does nothing.

When this happens the only buttons to work on the keyboard are E A and O and these have accents over them.

To fix it I have to it off at the mains as if I use the windows restart it does not fix it.

Any ideas what the problem is or is it just because I bought the cheapest ones in the shop?

It could be that you need to move your receiver closer to your mouse/keyboard.

I had a similar problem after I relocated my computer. Moving the receiver solved it.

My mouse wheel broke yesterday, so I had to go and get a new wireless mouse. Tried to 'phone 1st computers on Chesterfield Road. Number unavailable and so walked down there.

They have shut down and the shop is up for let. B****r. They were very useful to me.

i dont understand why would anyone need a wireless mouse? i know a mate who has his computer (located in another room) hooked up to his TV for watching vids listening to tunes etc and he has a wireless KB+mouse but i really cant think of any other practical application for having one on a desktop PC.
just one more thing to go wrong.
just my 2 peneth

The reason I have one is that I have to put my computer up on a shelf to stop my little boy pressing the reset button. The cables that come with normal mice arn't long enough to plug in, hence wireless.

Yup, you've got it!

Both of the printers are up there also, along with the router and telephones.

I've even taped up the mains switches on the wall and surge suppressor.

And to think we said 'I can't wait until he's walking' :hihi:
