Is anyone else out there on Hagg Lane Allotments? I took one over at the end of last summer (207 - which is the other end to hagg hill I think, my geography leaves a lot to be desired) but have only just started getting down to it...I've met the people over the way from me, and yelled some hello's through various hedges, but was wondering if there was anyone else out there!?!?! More plots seem to be being taken up and worked and there seems to be lots of enthusiastic people on Hagg Hill too...
So HELLO to anyone out there!

Oooh kate, you're not far from us! We're number 182...in fact, we might have even spotted each other. Were you there this past weekend?

I sure was. I'm guessing yours might be the corner plot then.

We're a bit further along actually...as you enter the site from Hagg Lane gate, follow the path to the right, up the short rise and around the left hand bend. We're about 100 yards along that path (at the bottom of the little dip), on the right, with a wooden door. We had a Kate visit us on Saturday, she was on site with her mum?

yup that's me. :)
I was down there today, but it is so wet, dug some gooseberries in and went home. Have you met the people with the new turf on allotment next to me? I think I have allotment envy.

I had a walk round Hagg Hill yesterday, and the allotments were a hive of industry. There seemed to be loads being worked on, or which had been recently cleared... well done, it's looking great! It makes the area look much nicer, and more loved than the overgrown tangles that were there before
