Tartempion 06-02-2007, 11:07 PM ...it might be called White House Buildings. ...anyone...? Plain Talker 07-02-2007, 12:42 AM ...it might be called White House Buildings. ...anyone...? There's a White House Buildings in Fitzalan Square, in the very centre of the city, I think. (next to the old Marples pub which is now Hein Gericke motorcycle clothes shop) Longcol 07-02-2007, 11:06 AM Off Whitehouse Lane in Walkley? I think there's some on the right hand side going uphill towards the Belle Vue / bottom of Carr Road. Tartempion 07-02-2007, 12:06 PM Yeah - someone else said the bottom of Burgoyne Road to me but no one seems very certain! I think it's near Mecca Bingo so that sounds fairly likely but I'm not totally sure... Plain Talker 07-02-2007, 01:35 PM There's a White House Buildings in Fitzalan Square, in the very centre of the city, I think. Think they are a three-storey building on Infirmary Road, the rear of which overlook Mecca Bingo. docmel 23-03-2007, 12:22 PM White House Buildings were apartments built over some shops/business on Infirmary Road/Langsett Road - I am not sure what name but there are/were on the right handside going out of towm, just before Burgoyne Road. They must have been there in 1920, cus my dad was born there. You are viewing an archive. To view the actual thread click here: Sheffield Forum | |
