There's a White House Buildings in Fitzalan Square, in the very centre of the city, I think. (next to the old Marples pub which is now Hein Gericke motorcycle clothes shop)

Off Whitehouse Lane in Walkley? I think there's some on the right hand side going uphill towards the Belle Vue / bottom of Carr Road.

Yeah - someone else said the bottom of Burgoyne Road to me but no one seems very certain! I think it's near Mecca Bingo so that sounds fairly likely but I'm not totally sure... :huh:

My mistake, that set of apartments in FitzAlan Sq are the White Buildings, beg your puddinn!

Pretty sure that information is right. Think they are a three-storey building on Infirmary Road, the rear of which overlook Mecca Bingo.

White House Buildings were apartments built over some shops/business on Infirmary Road/Langsett Road - I am not sure what name but there are/were on the right handside going out of towm, just before Burgoyne Road.

They must have been there in 1920, cus my dad was born there.
