What is the best album you have bought this year, it may have been something which has been out for ages but you've only just discovered. I don't mean the best album to come out this year, I mean the best BOUGHT this year.

I've bought a few but The Frattelis album has to be the best

So far? I thought I'd like the View best but klaxons has been on more often. Loving the new Kelly Jones one as well (only available on mp3) but it's a slow burner one - just his voice and not knowing the songs yet means all at once it's a bit much.

I finally got round to buying a hard copy of The Rifles but I had it on MP3 anyway. I have not done bad only four albums so far this year (mm in a mo I'll remember the mad buy session i had in HMV sale and haven't played yet!)

Voting for the Klaxons. :)

Well, Well, Well (Milburn) was the last album I bought, December last year...and I still think it is excellent.

The Milburm album is great I can't recomend it enough in fact it was one of my fave albums of last year!

I have no idea what most of those bands sound like! I've also forgotten when I bought what CD, I think the best I've bought this year is either Ocean Machine - Biomech or Atheist - Unquestionable Presence, both of which are awesome.

You can download Kelly at I tunes - get him in the charts and download each song one by one as the album has been made ineligible (by Kelly himself) for charting.
You also save the grand sum of 9p! :hihi: However you don't get the cover and artwork, which i wanted to see so I didn't play this game and just downloaded the whole thing.(I am actually sad enough to take my album covers out and read them.)

Best album I bought so far (and I've bought about 40) is Gallows - Orchestra of Wolves. Aggressive, heavy and hard. Fantastic stuff.

just got hold of a copy of Coldwarkids albumn, and its pretty damn good! Also Shins new albumn is a corker!

It's only Feb so not bought that many really, in fact I've only bought two. A Sisters Of Mercy remaster and a Nick Cave one.
