These guys stock quite a lot of varieties and should be able to help out:

What you need depends on what you are connecting to the screen...so post the rest of your setup :)

i've always found http://www.tvcables.co.uk/ to be pretty good. Fast and reasonable prices. Obviously if you get branded stuff you'll pay a premium for it.

For Sky HD get one of these Gold Plated HDMI cables from Play only £9.99

have looked on hdmi on play .com and there seems to be two to choose does anyone think it is worth buying the QED's QUNEX HDMI-P at £39.99 or the gold plated one at £9.99 would anyone know if the dearer one would produce better results or is it just a case of paying for a name

HDMI Cables are cheap on ebay. Don't be obsessed with spending a fortune on a cable. I won't be when I get a 10m DVI-HDMI cable for my 42" Toshiba.

Is that one of these (http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/441440/art/toshiba/42wl67zg-lcd-television.html) by any chance?

Mine turns up tomorrow. Interest free credit, free delivery, 4 year warranty *and* free stand (worth £250, as is the extended warranty) from Atkinsons, of all places!

For the same price as Pixmania! That's £600 off!

But anyway, cables like the ones the OP is after are available from a number of places, for any price you're willing to pay! I got my 1m HDMI cable from Richer Sounds, and my Component video (RGB) from Maplins, as they were the cheapest high street (and sometimes web) prices.

And I prefer to buy mind numbingly expensive things from places that are easy to return to!
