I know the schools take the kids down there a lot as it is quite nice and lots of wildlife. willman 11-02-2007, 02:37 PM shirebrooks valley is the Carr Forge Dam - not massive walks but it is pleasant for wlaking. It looke dbtter when it used to be field - my old stomping ground in the 70's. chin_wag 27-02-2007, 11:24 PM I walk my dog around Shirebrook most days and there are loads of different paths to take. The Trans Pennine Trail also runs through if you want a longer walk. There are some really good maps and leaflets to download here or you can pick them up in Crystal Peaks library. http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/index.asp?pgid=20220 Enjoy your walks :) You are viewing an archive.
