Does anyone know what's being built on Broad Street, just across from Granelli's sweet shop and the magic/fancy dress store?

Flats.. Sheffield has a terrible shortage of flats!

Oh god, not another soulless, overpriced, miserly-spaced development. Like we don't have enough of them already.

Its student housing, and lots of it. That sweet shop owner should be rubbing his hands together.

I don't think it's for students but could be wrong.

It will consist of 3 blocks of 10, 9 and 7 storey apartments mainly for students. The original plans included a tram stop up in the sky next to the tram viaduct which would have been great..

One of the best things about this development is that it will become a familiar gateway into the city as it stands right next door to the end of the parkway. You will be able to see it for a mile as you approach from the M1.
