Can anyone help me? I changed the ink cartridge in my printer today and i know that you aren't supposed to just chuck the old ones away. Can anyone tell me how to safely dispose of them please? Where do i take them?

PENGUIN 05-10-2004, 19:43 You can take them to any school I would think, the IT engineer will recycle them. Or you could send for a free thing that you can return to this company and every one recycled they donate £1 to the RSPCA. http://www.rspca.org.uk/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=RSPCA/HowYouCanHelp/GiveAsYouSpend&articleid=1077813453654 Rich 05-10-2004, 20:46 Office World in Town has a recycling facility for empty ink cartridges. Lickszz 05-10-2004, 21:41 Lots of places have bags where you can send them away for recycling for free. Tesco, PC world etc. Martin_s 06-10-2004, 10:24 Likewise a lot of charity shops will be able to take your old inkjet or laser cartridges and get them recyled. Jamie 06-10-2004, 10:43 You can get rid of them in Staples (bottom of the moor). They have a big recycle bin in front of the service desk. Captain_Scarlet 06-10-2004, 11:15 WHSmiths on Fargate give recycling bags away with teir cartridges. Office World is closing according to the banner in the car park :( :( nez75 06-10-2004, 18:44 Thanks everyone. I think i'll send it to the rspca site. Cheers! |
