What you would consider reasonable for a bottle of House Red in a Sheffield pub. I was charged £10 which I reckon is a bit steep!

Was it with a meal or just some plonk to knock back whilst with mates? dukeodarnall 02-02-2007, 15:19 Depends on the wine. Was it good? Was it with a meal or just some plonk to knock back whilst with mates? It was just about drinkable and yes it is just to knock back between my wife and I, still think a tenner is a bit steep though. Best place I have found is the White Rose and Handsworth, £5.99 for a bottle of Blossom Hill. MinxyKitten 02-02-2007, 15:41 £3 max..............:suspect: :gag: :gag: :gag: discodown 02-02-2007, 18:47 i would expect to pay somewhere round about £5-7 *Twinkle* 02-02-2007, 20:11 About £7 :) Patrick1346 02-02-2007, 21:27 It was just about drinkable and yes it is just to knock back between my wife and I, still think a tenner is a bit steep though.
