I didn't go to the match, but apparently United dominated most of the game, and it sounds like Carmardi (or whatever his name is!) had a good first game, which seems promising considering he had hardly any time to practise with his new team mates first!

I hope Warnock doesn't automatically start playing Ward again as soon as he is recovered from injury. And I would prefer to see a bit less of Wright... I think we need someone a bit taller in his position!

yeah i know, we sign that gabrielle or whatever he is called, a nice 6 foot odd fella, and play wright at centre back, who cant kick with his right foot, nor tackle,
in fact only thing wright is good at is getting in the air for headers, strange for a dwarf

And its a bit worrying having this 2 week gap in games... more time for people to recover from injuries, whilst I would prefer a few games with Warnock being forced to experiment a bit more and try the new players and Forte etc etc.

I know we aren't in a disastrous position in the table at the moment, considering we have played some of the more threatening teams already, but we are doing very badly in the "goal difference" league!

i personally think the international gap will do us good this time, unlike last time

we rely on morgan a bit too much i think,
so we do need him back

as for the goal difference, we are only on minus 2, so it is not all bad, after all we won 4 and have lost 4

but........ things can only get better!!

personally think gray and cadamarterie will link well together, but think we should have signed somebody else,

I read on this forum, someone describe Alan Wright as Bilbo Baggins, Perfect!!!...:).
Now although i would'nt wish injury on anybody, i would'nt complain if Wardy takes quite a while to recover. I also think Forte should get more time on the pitch, whenever i've seen him he has looked pretty good and he runs like lightning.

I would play Gray, Shaw, Camarderie, and Lester before Ward! Is there any news on when Kabba should be fit again, and does anyone know how long he is in contract for?

It'll need to be a bloody long contract if he is to play for us again.
No, seriously though, i hope he is back soon, i think he is a damn good striker.

just think of the prospect with kabba and gray up front

be a forward line to be envied in this league

million quid price tag blew that out the water

But when we bring in 5million plus in a share issue, are'nt we able to buy a good, well known, proven pedigree striker. It is obvious that we have been lacking in this department for years.

you know, as well as i know that even with this 5 mill coming in wont allow transfers to be done!!
we will probly spend more money converting wooden seats to plastic ones and then not let the public sit in that area

even if they did wanna open the purse strings, i think 1 mill for king is a bit much

Keown is wanted by a couple of premiership clubs so i doubt we will get him. With all the transfers going on at Spurs this summer, i was kinda hoping for a Brown return but i watched them a few weeks ago and he looks pretty good in their team now.
How about putting a 1million bid in for Saha, He won't get a look in at Man Utd now. OOPS, sorry i left a 0 off that Saha bid,lol.

or we could poach dean ashton, oh that would be nice!!!
