It's good to see that boys as well as girls have taken up the needles in this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/player/nol/newsid_6170000/newsid_6170600/6170693.stm?bw=bb&mp=rm#) knitting group at a school in Stoke on Trent. Apparently the group has about 60 members and they're moving on from knitting square for blankets to following patterns.

Shame the reporter fell back on the 'little old lady' cliché though :roll: .

Very good. :clap: I tried to get my 4 year old interested, but she'd rather do anything other than what I suggest a the minute:roll: , so I'll try again at a later date. Knitting Rules!!:D

I think thats great! baby sis is gonna be taught how to knit when shes old enough....whether she likes it or not ;) lol
