I am a qualified joiner (City and guilds of the London institute) but i am lacking in 'on the job' experience, Hence why i am joining bits of plastic together instead of wood!.

I forgot why i posted it now

I just wanted to know some contacts i think, im always getting asked do you know a sparkie etc ?

While im on the subject, do any of you have a unit ? im thinking of getting one myself for storage and a small workshop, maybe you have too much space and fancy renting me an area ? or you have one and know the price etc of ones near by ?

Thanks

Saw some up on Liverpool St/Rd or whatever it is on Attercliffe recently when I was having a nose for a workshop. they weren't particularly big but went from £3500/year to £4500/year. Basically it looked like you pay anything from £3 to £10 per square foot per month. Not too bothered at the moment ourselves though as we have access to a mates when need be but 99% of the time do it all on site.

If you don`t mind travelling to Barnsley there`s plenty of units available over there,Stocksbridge and deepcar have some very good units available too.Good luck with what you`re doing or have in mind. Oh and by the way.Im a chef 30 yrs experience, and a professional driver of vehicles of all sorts. Do they apply to your primary question??? And why don`t my smilies show up on my posts.

Connaught are one of the 'chosen few'. Sheffield Council have transferred the upkeep of all their houses to about 7 building firms, Connaught, Kiers, Frank Haslam Milans, Lovells, Mears, Henry Boots and one other I've forgotten.

All of these companies are desperate for building tradesmen as there is so much work on - the whole of the Arbourthorne for a start.
