Yesterday i went to town with my mother and sister, as my sister needed some new trainers for school. Bethany, my sister, is only 9, therefore we had to go to proper shoe shops, not sport shops where i get mine from  Aneeeeway it made me realise why I do not like shoe shops....BLOODY SNOTTY SALES ASSISTANTS!!! You walk in and the first thing they do is check you out, eyes quickly diverting to your shoes. The horror and disgust that spreads across their face is classic. It makes me want to scream. There is only one reason you go into a shoe shop and that is to buy NEW shoes! Of course there looking shabby and decrepid! Thats why your there! It really infuriates me and usually I dont end up staying long.
If you have had some unpleasentries at shoe shops drop me a note.

Waiting around for an hour in Meadowhall as a youngster with my mum, waiting to be served. Nightmare.

A day spent trying to find some knee highs with my now ex... sheffield town center followed by Meadowhall... 8 hours and we FINALLY found a pair she liked!
A couple of years ago I ended up needing a new pair of shoes in a hurry whilst down in London.
I went to a shoe shop, found something that fitted and then gave them some cash and my old pair to dispose of.
The look on the face of the assistant was priceless! :)
Unfortunately, whenever I see the words 'Shoe Shop' now I think of Ed O'Neill in 'Married With Children'. Mr Shoe....a hero for everyman!

I used to work in a shoe shop when I was in my teens and I must say the staff that I worked with were awful.
I worked my bloody arse off in that job and sold 3 times over my target sales and I was only saturday staff, but the other girls I worked with seemed to take real offence to the fact I did my job and did it well.
They ended up trying to cause me alsorts of trouble and then the last straw for me was when they stole money out of my coat pocket.
Nasty people, I would never work in a shoe shop again thats for sure.
