Rather than start a topic tomorrow (monday) about, 'did you see this programme on Channel 5', I thought I'd prepost!
Channel 5 at 9PM Monday 29th. (I believe)
An American young lad who is blind, who can navigate by making 'clicking noises' It looks interesting, thought I'd let you know.
(my interest is that one of my friends is blind, (not from birth though))

I found it fascinating.
however, did anyone else feel that the documentary ended a bit "abruptly", with no real "finish"?

I recorded it, and thought I'd chopped the end off!
Was interesting though.
The blind lad was only 14 and was resisting using a cane to navigate around. He didn"t consider he was disabled at all.He is over confident, and his Mum had taught him to be that way from when he had his eyes removed due to tumours at the age of two.His Mum was concerned for his safety crossing busy roads without a cane.Towards the end of the programme he was being taught by a Specialist teacher who was also blind, and an expert at using "Clicking" noises as an echo system to move around It was very interesting.
