(groans!)
Oh, man! No! please!
Not more flipping bus route / time changes to get used to!
It only seems like a month or two since we had the last cartload of changes to deal with!
Sheesh!

Not bringing back buses round here I see.
Waited 45 minutes for a bus home, again, yesterday. This is going to become a real problem in the coming months, especially as we don't have a service after 6pm.
We have 2 buses an hour (in theory). They re-routed ours (14) to Woodhouse, which now has 30 buses an hour. Thanks First!
hmmmm - wondered how long it would be before we were walloped with yet another fare increase!....I think it's the 3 week strike and increase in wages that is now going to be passed on to us!
:suspect:
its there own freekin fault... how much money they lost reducing the day saver to £2 to try and get people back? :P mainline, first whatever the name is now are the most expensive way to travel around... the tram and the terriors are well cheaper right now...
if it wasnt for the fact that the terriors dont run as often as the first 41 route I'd switch to them... I pay £8 a week for my student 7 day saver... IMO thats plenty enough, i know the normal one is like £11!
man, i remember when i started secondary school and it cost me 15p to get on the bus... lol... thats only what, 7 years ago? now its like 40p? 45 for kids?
I remember when it was 2p!
i'll get me pipe n slippers out cos i feeling really old now... and then i'll read the nappies thread cos i'm probably getting close to needing them again.

If you do not want all your cash to go to First you could buy a travelmaster for students 16/19 available in weekly format at £9 or monthly at £33 details available at PTE travel shops. This would allow you to use any bus/tram/train in all South Yorks.
If you attend a FE college a special Student Travelmaster at £99 per term is also available via students office support services.
the travelmasters are only valid until your 19th birthday at the student rate... least thats what they told me last year... First do their own discount on savers so i'm sticking with them me thinks... unless they start putting them up even more! bah!
