Rich 02-10-2004, 20:45 Not sure if there's anything official happening but I'm sure there'll be a gathering in Town. Nothing too grand though I don't think, as it's just another new year, not a major one like the Milennium in 2000 for example. mr.blaze 04-10-2004, 09:56 Lights Down Low & whatever's cracking at The Everyone Centre should both be great places to spend the new year. christine 04-10-2004, 10:20 Originally posted by Rich Nothing too grand though I don't think, as it's just another new year, not a major one like the Milennium in 2000 for example. They did have official celebrations in the Peace Gardens a couple of times - for 2000 and for the new Millennium. I'm suprised they don't organise anything now, especially since we have lots of other events in the city centre like "Fright Night". |
