ladyovmanor 03-10-2004, 07:25 Yeah a mate bort a portable TV from them - had to take it back a couple off times - but to their credit they were really helpful and exchanged it no problems........
I usually purchase things like that from cash generater
across from market.
not long after it opened i purchased a portable tv- which is still going strong.
a video machine, very large stand up electric fan,
and my son purchased some enormous amps for his gigs, all of which have never faulted.

yeah i get visions of smackheads selling their grandma's posessions
everything ive had from cash generater has been new boxed.
with papers etc.
also theres loads of the same makes in stock room so how can they be second hand.
if youve not shopped there you wont know will you.
or if you have ,then why pull it down.

i bought my lap top from there..it was 2nd hand .....thats why they call it cash generaters cos it generates your unwanted items into cash and they them sell them on..i wasn't having a pop btw
yes but not all stuff is because you dont walk in to a shop and have about 10 of the same dvd models to sell them do you.
when you pick a dvd player or whatever they usually have a few more in the back of the same models.
they must be job lots then. not second hand.
i know the pc stuff's not new.
but its obvious some of the dvd and video machines come in batches. so they must be from a job lot.
what make are the dvd players at that shop kirky.
i wont touch anything by bush or philips.
made in USA broksonic.........ok so ive never heard of them but its new works fine and as a 12 month gurantee..well worth 59 quid imo
We have a Best Buy now too? What's wrong with British chains that makes it so easy for American ones to come here?

A lot of Cash Generator 'new' stuff is what's classed as 'graded'. This can mean it has slight marks on the case, missing manual, opened box and such.
I have always had a good deal from Comet and I have always refused their extra warranty.
dont knock it but ive had some good electrical stuff from asda
the schneider and pacific products.
some of the lesser known brands are ten times better than bush, or philips.(my pet hate.) etc.
not tried the tvs there though.
