Looks like Bougherra has signed for Charlton and from what Laws has said, it's probably good riddance after he said he didn't want to be at Sheffield Wednesday. Nobody ever did anything wrong making a profit so it seems the Owls are beginning to get things right at last. Don't consider Talbot's move to be one of regret either.

Yeah - but how much of the fee will we get to spend?
I can see DA issuing his usual petty threats to Wednesdayite at next months EGM...
On the pitch things may be turning, but off it they most definatley aren't.

The Talbot deal is good business for the club, how many games has he played since Cardiff........6

I personally think he'll score 20 next year for them - you watch.

Yes, but in Div 1...
First time in donkeys years I can remember us selling anybody for more than we paid for them - things must be looking up!

20 in a season in Division 2 is better than 5 a season in Division 1 from D. Burton.
And even less than that from Barry Corr.
We need a keeper not another Right Winger. I guess thats Graham out of contention before he's even had a chance then?

The problem is that no matter how well your doing on the pitch at the moment, as long as there are problems with the management of the club you can never be stable. everyone knows stability is the cornerstone of consistency.

Absolutely. I remember during Francis's catalogue of bad signings, Wednesday had a dreadful defender called Simon Coleman and yet the Owls managed to sell him to Bolton for a profit. Quite a rarity!
Luton look to be in freefall so I would guess Talbot will be playing in Divison 1 next season - imo his correct level, when he plays!
