i know its backing an italion company, but ferrari cars look so much better *sigh*

i like to keep it British. i think Astons look as good as Ferraris and have 4 seats. An Aston Martins performance is fabulous considering its weight.

Its my intention, once the kids are less financially dependant on us to live a lifelong dream and purchase a V8. I know it will happen, just a matter of when.

I've voted Ferrari although I think Astons are marvellous. Trouble is Astons contain Ford parts (with the exception of the latest one).

Ferrari? Pure Italian flair. 360 Modena, 550 Maranello, 456 GT, 365 Daytona, '67 250 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, and the crowning glory - 308 GTB. All pure poetry in motion. YEAH!!!!!

Better? From my point of view they're both naff 'thingy' extensions, my idea of a good car is one that can either carry three or four mates in it, or the weeks shopping or for a lot of long suffering males, is it big enough for the pram and baby accesories and then a few years later the dreaded school run.
So basically they're as bad as each other.

Maybe longley owl agrees with you on this, but he wasn't asking 'Which is better, Supercar or Ford Mondeo clone?'

Maybe he's single and doesn't NEED to fit prams, shopping etc in his ideal wheels.

Come to think of it I prefer the economical, low insurance, easy to park run-of-the-mill car to any super car, but the choice is Ferrari or Aston!

In any case, I would go with a Mercedes SL55 AMG, or the upcoming CLS. Built solid, with powerful engines, and you can take em to sainsburys :) lovely :P

Defiantly, i love the SL55, but if money was no object i'd maybe go for a Brabus one. ;)

Ferrari's are beautifull !!! But the Aston Martin is pure class and gets my vote every time!

Better for what?

For actually getting somewhere in speed comfort and style the AMV8 Vantage is hard to beat.

I have one of each but use my 12yr old Proton all the time.
Seriously I saw a black Ferrari convertible on Bradfield Rd a few weeks ago and it looked absolutely the bee`s knees.

Ferrari........Bradfield Road.........doesn't sound right, does it!?
