View Full Version : Pipex customer support - anyone else had problems with them?

So I'm trying to cancel my account with Pipex now that I've discovered I can get a 1 Mb broadband connection for 15 quid, less than a third of the price I'm paying for a 512k Wireless connection from Pipex at the moment.... And I'm having a nightmare getting in touch with Pipex customer or sales support to do so, 2 letters sent in teh post, no acknowledgement of even their reciept of either much less that they're doing anything about it, and their telephone lines are less than helpful... WTF?!

Has anyone here ever dealt with Pipex and could you tell me the best way of getting in touch with them other than email as my email account with them currently doesn't work?!

Thanks in advance.

I'd keep trying to ring them up but the customer support number is a bloody 0870 National rate number and I'm blowed if I'm lining BT's pockets for the sake of Pipex's annoyingly twatty customer support.

Maybe just cancel teh  direct debit then i'm sure they'll get in touch with you. Either that or just phone them up,yes its a 0870 number but you'll be better off in the long run.

Yeah but I'm loath to cancel the direct debit straightaway as I haven't ordered Plus.net's broadband yet and don't want to end up with nothing when they come and take my Pipex dish away.

And both myself and me Dad have tried ringing them up but having tried 6 different phone numbers to try and contact them, we've had NO success at all.

Time to get in touch with Watchdog methinks :loopy:
