What did you think?..I thought it was ok, very funny in some parts but abit of a weak and slow storyline. I think it'll pick up as it goes along though. Loved the scene at the party with all the posh gits trying to be 'Down with their homies'...especially the DJ! PMSL! How funny was that - like Prince William trying to be black. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

only saw the last 20 min or so, mixed, maybe a little overhyped but I'll give it a chance (as only watched last bit lol)

Rather misleading title - from what I've seen on the posters, none of the characters actually are skinheads.

i thought it was brilliant! really funny!

I thought the humour was very apt and of its time - the setting is very familiar!

Made me laugh from start to finish :hihi:

i didnt think it would live up ito its hype, as all the trailers for it were really funny, but IMO it was fab, cant wait till next week!:)

Thought Harry Enfield was great as the sweary Dad. Other than that it wasnt all that good.

I turned off after about 15 mins aswell! I was getting a bit fed up just watching an irritating lad phoning all his [weird] mates up. Only decent bit was Harry Enfield swearing a lot, rest of what I saw was pretty boring.

It wasn't as good as the previews and hype suggested.

But maybe it is a show that will get better as it goes along.

Wasn't that more to emphasise that they were smoking weed?... Skinning up?

Needs time to warm up. Got potential. Give it time. Although the man/boy from 'about a boy' is weird now to see he's grown up. Like when you saw Edward Furlong and Maculay Culkin as adults - it's just wrong!

Simon Amstell is one of the writers... although he's not v funny on Never mind the buzzcocks, he was great on pop world. I still love his interview with the Arctic Monkeys. :hihi:

I came second in the e4 comp to redesign the skins logo...they took me to london last week to the premiere screening with the cast, writers etc and then to a crazy after party in a HUGE house in soho...all expenses paid! woohoo!

I actually thought the first episode was prety funny, bearing in mind the target audience is teens to early 20's. Very tongue in cheek :P

look out for my work on the skins website (the web design will be redesigned with my logo for 1 week from 1st feb) and on the TV during the second eposide (also 1st feb) :D

Well, thought the first episode was no more than ok to be honest, but I really, really enjoyed the second one, because it doesn't focus on that annoying about a boy guy, but on Cassie, the anorexic girl.
The actress is great and I thought that the topic was well handled, even though I might not be the best person to say it since I don't suffer from anorexia myself- maybe people who have really gone through it thought that it was a load of rubbish.

But yeah let's wait and see...
