hello, I need to transport a large (6 x 3.5 x 1) wardrobe over the w/e from S10 (Fulwood) to S11 (Sharrow).

My car is a small hatchback so definitely won't fit in - any suggestions ? Do you think a mini-van style taxi would be prepared to transport ?

You could buy a set of castors from B&Q (about £2) - screw 'em on and push it :D

Seriously...a guy who bought a large chest of drawers from us several years ago did just that. Couldn't get in his car or ours. He lived about half a mile from us and that's just what he did :)

yeah it's not much of a walk and it's all down hill! You could probably even ride in it as you go!
