I don't have any pictures of Sheffield myself, but in the local history section of the Central Library, they have a database of thousands of old pictures of every part of the city. You can look at the pictures online, and can get print outs, but for use in the pub there may be an extra charge. Worth a look, anyway.

Perhaps 'The Star' can scan some of their archives for you?

You can buy old pics from the star. Why not do a now and then thing with the photos.

Do you want pictures of the rutland over the years too? If so there were some left behind the bar (where the pub guides were,) when it closed but we have some and can probably get some from Trevor and Phil of past years. Just an idea.

There a very large number under the free to reuse licenses in flickr easy to get hold of and no problem to reuse for free e.g. http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=all&q=sheffield&m=text there are a number of groups on flickr such as the sheffield group with 6000 plus images
http://www.flickr.com/search/groups/?w=all&q=sheffield&m=names
have a quick search and I'm sure you can find something if not post a request for specific images there as many sheffield based photographers who will be willing to help.
