WHICH stop do i get this from at 7.28am towatards stocksbridge? waitied at one stop then realised it only stopped there at x times during day. by which time i had 2 mins to get to the middlewood rd/ dykes vale?stop. finally found that (stop sayign - to st/bridge on left of road. bus came DOWN the road saying s/b (surely stop should be on left?). NEADLESS to say (i won't go into all the details - but many thanks to the interchange man for sorting me out a taxi!) i missed it. SO question is WHICH DYKES/VALE STOP do i wait at? is it the co'op side of road???

There is a stop outside the fruit shop and the Jewellers, just up from Taplin Road, or just up from the bottom of Dykes Hall Road (Winkworths is on the corner) there is another stop - other side of the road from the Co-op. You can catch the 58 towards Stocksbridge from either of those. The 58 you saw coming down the hill must have not changed the destination, it should have said Sheffield.

the route 58 goes over the top through worrall so if you want to catch it to stocksbridge go to the stop opposite woolworths in the heart of hillsborough...you will be able to catch it there...failing that go to the stop at the bottom of dykes hall road outside the opticians

thanks. it was taplin rd i originally waited at - but it doesn't stop there every time according to their timetable.

cheers for reply's. the timetable says 'middlewood rd/ dykes hall rd stop' so that confused me. plus none of the other stops on the timetable actually seem to exist as far as i could see! :-)

next question - is it still easiest to get off at co-op? just to clarify - the bus will be travelling AWAY from morrisons rather then TOWARDS it - yes?
