I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I've just bought a nearly new car, after always having 10 year old bangers. The service book is bang up to date with VW service stamps and history. Thing is, I can do all the servicing and repairs myself, but obviously I dont get the recipt's or the stamp. It's due for a service soon, so do I do it myself, or pay a fortune for someone elso to do what i could do, just to get a stamp?!!?!? BTW the car is a VW polo. Nick.
Depends on how long you want to keep the car.
And whether you will want to sell it on in a few years time..

Dont know about VW but Ford Service History aint worth the paper its written on. Compromise would be to get it done a non dealer - just to get the stamp.
