Same thing happened to me on New Years Eve- someone strolled into my living room and nicked my red motorola razor. Had the sim and phone blocked immediately so will be no use to anyone - just the inconvenience of losing all my numbers and personal photo's.

So if anyone out there nicked a phone on New Years Eve in the Hunter's Bar area - THANKS- not!

Trouble is the guys on the markets can unblock the phones so it's pretty useless the networks blocking em if they can just be un-done. :(

My bf had his bag nicked out of our house last summer - we thought it was just lost so I called his phone to see if we could hear it - a minute later the little pr*ck called me back!
The most bizarre conversation - 'Hello - you've nicked my phone'
'No I ain't'
'Yeah, you're using it now...'
We called the police and to their credit they paid a visit and followed it up even though it was a lost cause. Got the bag back too minus the phone, wallet and a tube of lip balm...

well i rang it straight away and it had been switched off or they'd got rid of the sim?? im very well known on the estate so who ever nicked it / buy's it will know me, and if i find out who it is i'll ring their Frigging necks when/if i get hold of em.

Well if they block the IMEI number, short of changing most of the inside of the phone, there is NOTHING you can do.

but im sure your mate knows best.

I'd be interested to hear the story behind that blondie-blue - did whoever nicked it have a twinge of conscience? Maybe word got round you were going to kick some ass? Was if 'borrowed' for a 'laugh'?
