What ever happened to Sheffield's finest export? After losing that match against Marco Antonio Barrera, I haven't really heard anything more about him? Is he still boxing?

Malaika 11-01-2003, 21:17 I saw him recently, buying Daniel Hill School building. I think he's still boxing, although the guy's got so much money now that him and his family are investing more of it in property. Probably a better life than getting hit, i hate boxing. We've had a lot of decent musical exports too you know. Guest 11-01-2003, 22:18 isnt he playing for carlisle these days?? Anakin 05-02-2004, 19:06 Just one question as I was a big fan... Does anyone know where he is???? max 05-02-2004, 20:18 Merged threads as virtually identical. Sorry Moon. panda79 05-02-2004, 20:20 Originally posted by Anakin Just one question as I was a big fan... I feel he's wasted his talent and for me will now only be remembered for falling short when he came up against the elite top level opposition. Too be hoenst, I wish he would just make an annoucement regarding his future and not keep his fans in the dark this way. The guy was a character and British boxing are the losers. Geoff 06-02-2004, 14:53 Like most celebrities, he will be back (possibly in Celebrity... get me out of here :P) as soon as his bank balance gets low enough. Or am I just too cynical? Lickszz 06-02-2004, 15:24 It's just he was never much of a celebrity outside the boxing ring. The longer he leaves it, the more rust there will be if he does decide to get back in a ring again Geoff 06-02-2004, 15:25 You couldn't say he didn't like the attention though, could you? After all, he hardly drove around town in a modest BMW keeping a low profile. Lickszz 06-02-2004, 15:42 He loves the attention (a little too much, perhaps?) but that comes with the success and glory. People soon forget about you. Tony 07-02-2004, 08:21 Prince who????????? Lista 08-02-2004, 14:14 I played some snooker with Naz and his bro about 2weeks ago, he's training 3-4times a week, but not seriously. And yes, he's fit and well. Enjoying life, he;s earnt it. Lickszz 08-02-2004, 14:40 Lista, What is he weighing in at? Word is in the boxing world is that he is walking around at Super Middle? :o Lista 08-02-2004, 16:08 I aint a clue mate, we didn't even talk about fighting, so i'm not the person to ask. I'll ask him next time i see him if you like? Kilkenny 04-03-2005, 11:52 Hello This is a long shot Do you know Prince Naseem or have the ability to contact him? I have painted a large portrait of him alongside his hero Muhammed Ali and wish him to at least see it. I believe he is the potential puchaser of this work of Art.
