Once a popular product of the West Ham Academy, since capped 5 times by England, now fined by the police for attempting to steal a toilet seat from B&Q. Glen Johnson, who left West Ham after relegation three and a half years ago in a £6million move to Chelsea, was caught attempting to smuggle a toilet seat and other bathroom accessories from a store in Kent and fined on the spot.
Johnson - who is currently on loan at Portsmouth - was in the company of Millwall (presently in League 1) striker Ben May. Both players received £80 fines.
