I am new to sheffield and wanting to go out and meet people in particular the women of sheffield :) where is best for a mature 23 year old and which night is best any ideas please let me know

in the five years tha I have been in sheffield i have found the night life a little dissapointing. BUt there is one weekly event that never lets me down. Every thursday there is a comedy night at the Lescar pub, Just behind eccelsall Road. Its a brillient night out.
