View Full Version : Woman obeys SatNav and "turns left" onto train tracks...
slinger208b 19-01-2007, 16:16 ROFL !!!!!
Heard this on Talksport news earlier, a woman waiting at a train crossing turned left onto the tracks whilst obeying her SatNav.
What will she be doing next, driving on the pavement ???!!!!!
This just about sums up women drivers.
whitewitch 19-01-2007, 16:18 oy you, have less, just cos one makes a mistake it doesnt mean to say we all drive the same. Ive been pulled up no end of time by the police who have said they thought it was a bloke driving, so there (sticks tongue out)
Do you have a link? :hihi:
I find it more astounding a woman did what she was told :hihi:
its an easy mistake if you dont understand the sat nav.
mine always says turn left in 1/4 mile as i leave my house. there is no left turn, however the road bends significantly to the left at that spot.

I was wondering how long it would take someone to come out with that one:hihi: no, couldnt see the driver
Not ALL women, i dont have Sat Nav :hihi:
We should ban this "sat nav" and its evilness will be prevented. There is naught but magic and witchcraft in its soul, how else could it know where it is with no eyes to see.
Burn them all I say! BURN THEM.

I definitely disobeyed mine last year - it kept telling me to make a sharp left (it was pitch black, at night, no streetlights, no other cars on the road....) - as I couldn't see a road to the left I kept going straight on.....
Two days later, when I travelled the same road in daylight, I found that if I'd turned left when I was told, I would have gone straight over the edge of the Grand Canyon.....!!!!! :help:

Sat Navs do state that they're only a guide and that user discretion should be heeded

Why do they keep pulling you up?
I have been driving 30 years and never been pulled up once.
In fact I dont think I have ever even been followed by a cop car.
You must go in the wrong areas.

ah, in my 20's i was on the cb radio (mobile), was out till the crack of dawn sometimes, with a police watch sticker in my back window (one of those that tells the police to pull the car up if it is spotted driving after midnight)
