Well we fetched Jasper yesterday and so far he has been brilliant. :)

He is great with the kids and they love him, he doesn't bark a lot, he walks well on the lead and he never made a peep all night. I know it is early days, but I can't believe how lucky we have been, he hasn't even had an accident in the house, he always waits till we get outside. :thumbsup: He is very good with other dogs, but not tried him with cats yet.

I am so glad we didn't rush into getting a dog and waited until the right one came along. As soon as we saw him, we knew he was the dog for us!

I have made an appointment at the vets for a health check, so am going to write a list of questions to ask her. :huh:

Yes, I know, he does sound perfect doesn't he? I am just waiting for something to go wrong. :hihi:

Oh, and did I mention that he is gorgeous!!!

I will try to work out how to post some pics soon and no doubt I will be back with one or two questions.

He looks like a Jack Russell who's dressed up as a Cav :D

He is actually a Jack Russell/Papillion cross. Apparently Papillions are called 'the Butterfly Dog' because of their fluffy ears, but yes, he does look a bit like a Cav.

He is just so gorgous and this dog was a stray?? you just can't believe it can you :loopy: well all i can say is their loss is definately your gain.

They do look very similar although I think Chip is quite a bit bigger than Jasper.

Chip is 10 years old and i have had since him being a pup he is cross collie.
