I've posted this in the Wanted section, but I thought id' come here too as you might be able to also give me advice.

I'm wanting a die cutting machine that will cut Felt and maybe other fabrics too, i've been advised to get the Ellison Big Shot machine, I wondered if anyone had one for sale - also if anyone has used one for cutting felt how good they are?

Is there anywhere else in Sheffield other than Hobbycraft you can buy these machines?

I've been told since that the Spellbinder Wizard is a better die cutting machine, and i've found the craft shop at the bottom of London Road stocks them, so I may purchase one when I have the funds.

Trying to save up for a new sewing machine at present though!

Is that the really small shop that you enter via the back door? or you used to anyway :confused:

I dont think you enter by the back door.

If you were stood right at the bottom of london road, at the dual carraigeway, facing up London Rd - it is on your left hand side, next to that little hatch where you can buy sandwiches etc?

It sounds like the same shop as you can enter from the back where MFI is. It used to be Whiteheads. I haven't been in since it was taken over, I've heard it has changed a lot.

I went in a few months ago, it was all just cards supplies, die cyts etc, not really a craft shop anymore in general.

That was it Whiteheads it was. I used to drag my mom there as a kid for my decoupage stuff and the items needed to make a bonnet for the easter bonnet parade :D
