I seem to remember that in 'Blokie' circles a few years ago, you had to greet people by the name of 'Shagger' i.e 'Owright shagger, 'ows it goin':hihi:

I swear more often than most, although not in a malicious way if you can believe it. I was challenged by a workmate yesterday not to swear for the day, I lasted 2 hours :(

I noticed a lot of that in Liverpool, and Widnes (full of exiled Liverpudlians) but not in Ormskirk.

Mind you, those places are at opposite ends of the social scale :D

Aye up f***face :) it's absolutely blooming true, we insult each other all the time - it's cos we know that being Lancastrian gives us an innate headstart in life and so we are self-assured enough to be able to take the pee out of each other - I mean no one else is really clever enough to do so ;)

i wasn't being offensive! But in Liverpool they say aright softlad and in manchester and the like they have a greater capasity to insult in a harmless manner. The reason why i ask is that I find in Yorkshire i tend to insult more people but now i think they are just more touchy so I'm not arsed. So shut it mouth!:thumbsup:
