I am an Australian coming to live in Sheffield at the end of Feb, with my partner. Can anyone recommend any hostels in Sheffield, or cheap accomodation to stay in until I find an appropriate place to live? I have contacted all the ones in Hope Valley, but they all seem to be full?

You would struggle to find a hostel vacancy in Sheffield in a hostel as they are full pretty much all the time.

You could try to get a cheap B&B for example

Or you could arrange a short term let - lots of rooms always to rent.
