Following on from the coolest villian thread... Thought I'd do a thread to see who everyone's idea of the coolest hero was...

My picks would be Luke Skywalker, Batman, Zorro (cos he gets to snog Catherine Zeta Jones) and Spiderman.

So yeah, coolest heroes anyone?

Arnold Schwarzenegger in one of his earlier films, he has to be seen to be believed. For anyone who likes the Terminator please, oh please don't watch him in Cactus Jack playing the hero 'Handsome Stranger' and yes that was his name, maybe not the coolest hero but certainly memorable.

No competition here, it has to be Clint Eastwood's Man With No Name in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Number one coolest has to be John Steed (TV version not the awfull film!) for being what James Bond aspires to be! Though honorable mentions go to:

Simon Templer (either the Roger Moore series or the old B+W films)

Philip Marlowe (from the 1946 Bogart movie The Big Sleep)

Lickszz, yes, you're right here. How can I have forgotten "Dirty" Harry Callaghan? I admit it, on reflection, Dirty Harry has the edge because of the famous "You ain't nuthin' to me but dog-****, and a lot of things can happen to dog-****" speech. Great stuff!

It has to be Viggo playing Aragorn in the Rings trilogy. Cool as an eskimo's ass.
