I go to weight watchers and i only have 4.5lbs to go until 10% target and 6.5lbs to go until goal.

The things thats really pi**ing me off recently is that they have started this new pre payment thing-whereif you pay for 16 weeks up front or something you get to by pass the queue.

Last night there was a lady weighing people and then the leader at the scale next to her. The thing that annoyed me was that people who had done this prepay thing walked upto the leader and she weighed them straight away. However, there weren't many people for this pre pay thing-say about 4 while i was there...and there were about 16 in the other queue. The whole time, the Leader was just wandering around doing nothing...why couldnt she weigh some of the oher members who were in the other queue.

It seems as though its only ok if you've got loads of weight still to loose!

I know im starting to moan lots...but im sure there are other people who were thinking the same as me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slimming world do a pre-pay thingy - all it means is that you get 6 weeks for the price of 5, or 12 weeks for the price of 10. You still have to queue like everyone else, quite rightly so. It does save a bit of time when it comes to pay - you just have to hand the ticket over, rather than scratch around for change. It also keeps you motivated--- "well, I've paid in advance, might as well go and face the music!":hihi: :hihi:

It is indeed.

I went to a few WW meets in 1999 but only enough to get the relevent booklets. At £5 a chuck I could get weighed at home!

I was disgruntled then that they witheld booklets & would only give them out at 'set follow on sessions' to keep you going.

The latest set of booklets I bought off Ebay for about £10, saving me loads

i did weight watchers at home and lost 5 stones. however ive now put all the weight back on and iam about to start all over again. i think going to get weighed every week for all that money is a waste, that like me you should get yourself a good pair of digital weighing scales, mine give your bmi reading too.

Yeh, i did the pre pay thing a few months ago, when i had a bit more to loose, and yeh it was good, but there was never any queue pushing etc.

Ive tried to go it alone but it doesnt work, so i just think its worth it in the end if i can loose it-by any means necessary.

I do have digital scales, and yeh i weigh myself on them too, but i just think that the pressure i feel, and also the incentive of someone else weighing me helps me such a lot!

There should be plenty of classes for you to go to around your area-im quite far out and theres only one on a monday night-so not tonnes of choice.

Also-i know its cheating a bit but i would def go to a morning class if u can-much better than worrying what your eating all day on weigh in day!!!!!!!!!!!
