Yes we lost to Swansea.
Look at the results either side of that match and see which was more important.
WE dont need the money from a cup run like youRselves so the cup this season is not the priority.

Yeah and i'm sure all those loyal Unitedites that paid good money to support their team that day weren't that bothered then?

Course they were. They pretend that a Cup run was irrelevant and would have been harmful to our Premiership prospects so they don't have to face up to getting thumped by a team two divisions below us. This is normal practice; if the Owls had been drawn against Torquay and lost, they'd no doubt be doing the same thing in public, but they'd still be ticked off in private.

1st time I've seen em play this season and they look 2 players short of a play off place.A centre half and a striker.Bougherra;Clark?.They caused City some problems although I wouldnt put them as a good prem side-they were lucky to beat the Blades.

I think that captures the sentiments of a lot of Blades' fans.

The Owls played well last night & the Goal was a classic header, like us you deserved to beat City, but that's football goals win matches not pocession.
