Hello Everyone

I am trying to trace anyone with the surname Bowling whose family originated in Yorkshire and in particular Sheffield.
I am also interested in anyone who may know about anyone connected with the Butchers Shops of Walter Bowling & Sons although these may no longer exist.

Due to the maintenance being done on this site I am posting this on two lists, General and Sheffield history, I apologise if this may be wrong.

I knew a bowling family that lived on abbyfeild rd pitsmoor there was lesley wendy jackaleen and there was some kids but caunt remember all the names I know one of them died about 2years ago his name was lesley I dont know if its the same ones you are looking for

i was in the same class at the Tech. with a lad called John Bowling, his father had chemists shop on Holme Lane in the 1950's.
