These are not 'poems'. Zephaniah is incapable of writing anything other than crude doggerel and similarly puerile drivel. And yes, I believe it is 'cos he is black' that he owes his celebrity. The fact that his 'poems' are reproduced on these buildings has nothing whatever to do with their intrinsic merits and everything to do with the 'right on' diversity policies which are currently rampant in public institutions.
