Its so good to see the oh so perfect Mr Schumacher make such a big mistake.

Well lets see if someone else can have a go now he starts in 18th place.

Formula 1 has now become The Schumacher race and therefore is predictable making a once interesting sport dull.
I fall asleep after the first few laps these days.
Theres not much competition and the best thing for the sport would be for Farrari to drop him and put him in another car.
Lets see if Schu's as good then.

Schumacher is without doubt the best driver that is around, but I agree it has become boring, it's like grown up scalextric.:)

I remember going to see the German Grand Prix and seeing Senna, Mansel and Prost all in one line fighting for first position, it was fantastic to watch and those were the days of Formula 1.

Everyone goes on about how good Schumacher is but who has he got to compete against him with a good enough car.
He has a talent but he would never have competed with Senna and won.

I agree Cycleracer it is boaring but I will be up at 5.30am to watch the race. Have done that for 19 years and perhaps tomorrow I will get the surprise that Schumacher is not one of the first 3 to finish. I will keep my fingers crossed for a good race.

No doubts about Schumakers talent but it does not help the sport in any way because they have to sell tickets and TV coverage and if it gets so boring because each race is predictable then people will eventually stop going and stop watching, as I have done.

Just because he is the best driver, in the best car in the world, does'nt mean he is responsible for the sport being boring. What it means is the other outfits are not doing a goog enough job in catching him and Ferrari!

If Arsenal could find 8 English men that would be a miracle.

Schumacher has the money behind him in Ferrari and lets face it the amount of people that stop with mechanical faults or accidents then reduces the amount Schumacher has to race against.

He does not do it on his talent alone, Senna, Mansell,Prost and Piquet did win with pure racing talent and not being given the race with how many did not finish.

Mansell proved his talent with winning back to back Formula `1 and Indy he did not just win with one car. Now that`s talent.

Place M Schumacher and ANY other driver in the world in the same car, on the same track and i will guarentee that Schumacker will win.
Now do'nt get me wrong, i am not a fan of M Schumacker!. But facts are facts, He is the best in the buisness.

As for Ferrari having the money, BAR/ WILLIAMS BMW/ RENAULT, have all got the money to match them, and if Ferrari have an advantage with other teams cars having technical problems, then the other teams are not doing their jobs well enough!!!.
I think now is the time to get real and start living in the real world.
Senna, Mansell,Prost and Piquet. They would do no better now than M Schumacher does, hence why D Hill packed it in (He could'nt race a car with so little grip!).

I don`t think if you put Schumacher and Button in a BAR car Schumacher would win.
In fact put Button in a Ferrari and you would see him win Schumacher.

I don`t think he is the best, lucky maybe but after watching this for quite a few years and seeing the changes. Schumacher was driving at the right time when people retired and the changes happened to allow him to win so many times.

Thankfully today he has not had it all his own way, and the Mr Perfect lost his halo and did not finish in the top 3.
Rubens should be allowed to drive how he wants. Senna tipped him to be one of the best drivers in the world.

You will find that i am a huge J Button fan, but as for the Button beating Schumacker in a Ferrari, i'm not so sure?.

He did win against him though ....

Schumacher won with Benetton-Ford in 1993 but Senna did not finish the race.
In 1994 in the first race Senna spun off and did not finish and in the secind race he was in a collision and did not finish and in the 3rd race of the season he died.

So they didn`t actually finish a race together where Schumacher won Senna

Erm actually they did - In Belgium in '92 Schumacher won & Senna finished 5th :) :)

Also in the '93 french GP Senna finished 3th & Schumacher finished 4th...... So he DID actually beat him :)

As well as the ones you said Schumacher beat Senna at the 92 Spanish, 93 Canadian, 93 British, 93 German and the 93 Belgium.

Still don`t think he is as good as Senna beat him 14 times from 91 to end of season 93.

Something else don`t think Nigel ever let Schumacher win a race he was in. But if I am wrong you will correct me I am sure.

I think it`s good to see Rubens and Jenson, that could become intresting if it was not for the fact team rules apply when Schumacher is in front for Rubens to move out of the way.

I watch it but when he out on his own it`s predictable. Can`t say in 19 years i have missed any.

I think the fact they have to go into the race with the fuel and tyres they have from the day before is good.

Do you think Jenson will get to go to Williams. BAR managment say they are confident he will stay.

I honestly think he will end up at Williams, would you want to keep an unhappy driver on your team ?

After seeing the way Frank Williams treated Damon and Nigel not sure I would want him there.

I have no idea why he wants to go, thought he was ok at BAR. is it the money.

Yes I think it could be for the money, also the chance to challenge Schumy in a realiable car..

I think BAR would be foolish to keep an unhappy driver..

Just hope Williams can have the reliable car he wants.

It would be nice to have an Englishman on top of Formula 1 again.

Do you think David Coulthard will retire soon, after the helicopter accident he seems to take life at a slower pace and who can blame him.

I was a bit surprised to see Jenson is going to Williams. BAR have come on in leaps and bounds and Williams have had a disappointing season by their standards. I just hope Williams give Jenson a cracking car next season...

I think the sport is still exciting with the young, exciting drivers like Button, Alonso, Raikkonen and Webber etc to watch. I know Raikkonen has the all the personality of a spare tyre but I think he's a fantastic driver! Schumacher is utterly dominant but I think it's up to the others to catch Ferrari up!

I for one am hoping Jenson goes to williams next year.. What a combo that would - Button and Webber!

I still do find the sport exciting but wheres the excitement when Schumacher is 45 seconds ahead and the outcome is obvious, I like on the edge sport :D

I got into Formula 1 for the very same reason, blood pressure rising when you see the close finishes.

It used to be fast and exciting, not oh Schumacher is in front well we know the outcome then.

I hope next season is better, but I have done that for the last couple of years.

It does often seem like everyone else is racing for 2nd place.

I've fluctuated over the last few years between getting really bored and then getting into it again. It can be boring when Schumacher gets so far ahead that no-one stands a chance of catching him. But then there's a part of me that is impressed that Ferrari and Schumacher have made such a good team and a car that's super reliable.

But if you want exciting overtaking though you have to look further down the field!

Why be frustrated by the fact he is so far ahead ? Why be bored by it ? Surely the fact that Ferarri are so good means they are so damn good, like someone said ( Lou? ) it's up to the rest of the teams to sort theirselves out and catch 'em, build a better car, get better engineers, get better drivers, get better mechanics, and then they will be as good. I know the smaller teams don't have the £800m budget PA that Ferarri have, but is that Ferarri's fault ?

Its not boring when Schuey is out in front and finishes five minutes before everyone else - its brilliant!:D

F1 is becoming so boring and predictably safe that I now find Touring Cars more exciting. At least the safety car isn't out every time someone has a slight hiccup.
