My sister lived on Parkhill in the eighties and the other day we were passing and had a look at where the shops used to be.
Where are they?
As she recalled there was a newsagents near the stairs, a Butcher with a lad named Ian who worked there, a betting shop , a supermarket with a man named craig and his sister who also worked there, an Indian takeaway Moti Raj, a pub, post office and near to it a sweet shop called Mrs.D's
What happened to the shops, where did they move to and do you know of any of the people and where they are now.
If you worked there, you may remember my sister Leanne Burgin who used to go to those shops.
