My Mum used to have a caravan on there, but it has changed a bit since then. Very large park, you could be as much as around 15 mins walk from the main entertainment centre.

There are some lovely views over to Filey brigg, nice enough beach, a lake, good swimming pool plus loads more.

I still love the place, but my OH was not so keen on the size of it,so we have only been the once.

We tend to go for Blue dolphin now, although it doesn't have any beach access.

We've got 2 ankle biters and weather depending, so the beach was a nice to have.

I think it is pretty good for young kids. There is a really good adventure playground near the pool.

The beach is reached via a driveway, and in the summer (if it still runs) a shuttle train runs around the park, dropping off at the beach etc.

You can walk in to Filey, although it might be a bit much with young kids. For everything else you need your car, although the local buses do come on site at certain times in the day.

Hi:hihi: we went last year on a 4 night break and the kids really loved it - didnt want to leave. It was an easter break and was really cold though! We had a walk on beach and did the usually seaside stuff. The caravan was adequate but I would have find it too small had we been staying a week. Kids loved the adventure pool but you had to queue to get in and then if you werent in the first lot you then had to wait a while - they had a rota system going. Entertainment usual stuff but again if kids happy so are we. had a good break and would return for a short break.

Hi Jim,
We went last year, and the year before. The kids love it, but try to stay nearer the club/shops if poss - it can be a hike from the other end. The facilities are good, quite a few eating places - even a chinese restaurant! I think there are about 3 clubs on there, but we didn't go in them. The good thing is it's local to get to Filey, Scarborough and Whitby, even Brid if you Fancy it. Have a good hol.
