Safeways at Meadowhead have reduced the majority of their belgian beer to between 74p and £1.18 a bottle.
I just picked up a couple of bottles of:
Dentergems Wit, De Konnick, Chimay White. They also had some of the hoegaardens, and others.

nice one. isnt the sheffield beer festival on next weekend in st.phillips social club in shalesmoor again? that was good last year (though my memory is a little hazy)
All of the above available every day of the year at the Devonshire Cat! :D
Indeed, Sheffield Beer Festival takes place next week, Thursday 30th September to Saturday 2nd October, at St Phillips Social Club, near University of Sheffield. Netherthorpe Rd tramstop is next to the venue, and First bus 51 passes close. A range of around 80 real ales will be available, as will a selection of draught and bottled continental beers, plus cider and perry. Details www.sheffieldcamra.co.uk
Oh and yes, absolutely fantastic range of imported bottled beers is available at the Devonshire Cat, including the very strong, yet enjoyable, Samichlaus. At 14% ABV I don't reccomend more than one though.... There are also many many other world classics too. Then there is the British ales on the many handpumps - if you are an adventurous beer drinker then the Dev Cat is certainly the place to be! www.devonshirecat.co.uk
