My Nokia N91 is responding very slowly. If I send a text the phone can freeze for upto 40secs it then unfreezes and performs all the button presses you made while it was hung. I have emptied the Inbox all the photos and the hard drive. The only other thought is to get the OS re installed at Vodafone before I do this does anyone have any ideas as to how to speed the phone up. It has only recently started doing this.

Its prob best to get it done then.

The only things you can do is make sure there is nothing running in the memory by holding down the menu button and cancelling any programs that may be running. (apart from 'phone' and 'music')

Deleting texts from your; inbox, sentbox, outbox, drafts etc can speed it up but it seems like you have already done this.

The files on the hard drive shudnt slow it down.

I've had mine for about 5 months and the hard disk is about 3.6 gb full and still runs pretty fast so presumably its summet wrong with the operating system on it.

My N73 is doing this ... its just when texting.

Ask in the shop and they said do Nokia update from nokia.co.uk and there is a update, just not got around to installing it on the phone!!

Hmm, good job I've read this thread, I'm after an N73 when I upgrade on my contract next month.

Nokia mobiles with the Symbian software have always been a lot slower than non-Symbian phones. In this day and age, you would think they would have sorted it out by now!
