My all time favourite scene from any movie is this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErtRKdpncyk) one from Sergio Leones Once Upon A Time In The West. This shootout between Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda always makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, mainly because of Ennio Morricones amazing music, in this case its The Man With The Harmonica.

Its a long un by the way.

The scene in To have and Have Not, where Lauren Bacall stands in the doorway and teases Humphrey Bogart, includes the line - "...you know how to whistle don't you Steve? You just put your lips together and blow..." A very sultry scene, love it.

when sean bean puts the penelty away against man united in "when saturday comes" i was actually at the match when they filmed it and can pick myself out in the crowd when he takes the pen, funny thing that happened was the bloke on the pa system was building the crowd up(it was half time at a proper match) to make as much noise as we could when the ball hits the back of the net..beano missed twice so it obviously had to be filmed 3 times till he scored:hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

I was there too, but my recollection isn of him missing loads of times, and hitting the post twice.

Strange that - Beano never usually needs more than once chance to score!!

- The closing scene from "Some Like It Hot" - "well, nobody's perfect!"

- The bathroom scene in "Grosse Pointe Blank" where a bloodied and bandaged John Cusack, having just survived a shoot-out with countless minor hitmen and their boss Dan Ackroyd in order to save her father's life, says to Minnie Driver "will you marry me?" and her father says from the bottom of the bathtub - "You got my Blessing"....

- and countless scenes from Naked Gun 1, 2 and 3 :hihi:

rugger hower death scene in blade runner.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams ... glitter in the dark near Tanhauser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost ... in time, like tears ... in rain. Time ... to die.

Then his head bows and a dove flys form his dead hand.

After real violence you see all he wanted was to live and be free. Its a seriously beautiful piece of filming.

The Fisher King is one of my favourites. Although not my favourite scene of all time, the scene where Jack Lucas is practising saying 'Forgive Me' for his audition for the sitcom is devastating. He sees his own face on TV, with teh sound turned down, and he gleefully turns up the sound expecting to hear more good things about himself. His world then falls in as he realises that his words on his radio show that morning encouraging someone to go on a shooting spree.

The guy is a total *******, and it's a mark of Jeff Bridges's acting that it always brings a lump to my throat.

Agree it is a good scene, but then

Then his head bows and a dove flys form his dead hand.

And the entire scene turns into a cheesefest.

So Many So many. i really can't decide so here's a few

The obvious one

Ezekiel 25:17, The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

Then there is the scene from Good Will Hunting where they are sat at the side of the lake/river. makes me tingle that.

The sniper scene from full metal jacket
