Can anybody tell me why council workers come along to inspect roads with holes in and spend half a day looking at them. Then spray a yellow circle around each hole before driving off and leaving it - never to return.

Is it some form of magic yellow forcefield that sheilds my car tyre as it drives over it?? NO!

Any chance of actually filling in the bloody holes!!!:rant:
