We seem to be a very small minority, the average seems to be 2, why do you think shis is? i have 4 boys and i love my big family although it wont get any bigger. who else is there out there?

Depends if you include the husband, the dog, and at least one grown-up dependent I adore but may as well have parental rights for, lol.

I'm not sure you are in the minority, roslynrosie. I seem to see lots of parents with 3 and over. Though I do know several with 2, I guess.

yes i spose husbands should count, they need as much looking after as the kids, and they need just as much toys too,

No, i don't tend to get the comments much as there are quite good age gaps between my kids, the not having a tv comment would probably more like the tv was broke that night lol. ones 17 then 12 then 9 and the little one is 4.

My sister has 3 girls and 2 boys and my friend has 6 boys and 3 girls.

Wow nine don't think i would be able to cope with that many. My Grandad was one of 13.

Makes me feel like a coward for fretting about having two!

I think if it wasn't for the fact she had 2 prematurely she'd have more.

My parents also come from big families. My mum was one of 7 and my Dad one of 16!!

A relative of mine is expecting her 10th child in July :o They have 4 boys and 5 girls, the oldest is 13 and they are all very well behaved most of the time.
They did joke that they're probably not going to stop there - likely to go for the full team plus subs!!

I have a 10 year old in Sheffield, a three year old here in Leicesteshire and one on the way. I also had a son in sheffield but he died.
My other half tells me that she wants more kids and at the age of 30 I suppose thats natural. Im 46 though and too bloody old to have more so I can see friction in the future.
